First Week Down!

Well it’s been a whole 5 days since I started this crazy quest to getting healthy. So far I am pretty sore, but adjusting better than I thought I would be. My body only freaked out for the first 2 days. Which is good because I anticipated a lot more trips to the head than what actually happened. As for the working out, my body is a little less sore every day, but that only means I will need to take the intensity up sooner rather than later… which is a good sign. When I am working with new students that are out of shape, I always tell them that if they can get through the first month it starts to get much easier. Don’t get me wrong; there was a day or two when I really had to talk myself into getting up and getting to work. But I just keep reminding myself about that month. In the grand scheme of things 30 days is a speck in the wind when you are talking about a healthier rest of your life. Well I suppose it’s time for bed so I can get up early tomorrow and do it again. So I will say this as a final thought: remember to give yourselves credit when you accomplish something no matter how small that achievement may seem. It’s those little things that add up into big ones that will give you the confidence that you need to go on. Have a good night and PILSUNG!
